The project encompassed the renovation of metro station Ganzenhoef in Amsterdam. The majority of the building has been built on and between heavy prestressed sleepers. The sleepers span around 30 metres and are supported by a post-and-beam construction beneath which a heavy column has been placed. The building and the overhangs end in an abutment.
The roof consists of a steel bearing structure that has been filled in with wooden roof panels and glass.
