The project includes the redevelopment of the former ministries of Justice and The Interior situated at Turfmarkt and Schedeldoekshaven in The Hague with a total surface of 55.000 m². The 'new' building houses a combination of new functions: living, education, retail and parking. A total of 170 apartments have been created in the towers. The bottom five building layers contain 1.000 m² retail area and 13.000 m² for the Leyden University, named Campus The Hague. The area for the Leyden University consists of lecture theatres, class rooms and other education facilities. The building also contains a bicycle parking for students.
The project was designed in BIM.
The Forum Rotterdam project is a combination of living, working and shopping, and renovation and new construction.
The former office tower of ABN AMRO at the corner of Lijnbaan and the ‘Koopgoot’ have been transformed into a residential building with 103 rental apartments. These apartments are spread out over 10 storeys.
A total of approximately 30.000 m² vvo has been reserved in Forum Rotterdam for retail area and horeca.
The Rotterdam Bookstore Donner opened its doors in the renovated State monument in 2019.
At the 'Koopgoot' side and the Lijnbaan, there is also some retail area.
